The palm straws midi basket is perfect for storage and also as a lovely accessory, it can be personalised with the colours of your choice or can remain plain without personalisation.
All of our market baskets may vary slightly in size and style as they are hand woven in Morocco using a spiral technique which will leave a ridge at the top of your basket, this is normal and is not a fault. The bags are made from palm straw, using palms grown in the Moroccan desert. The palm leaves are dried in the sun for several hours before the weaving process starts.
We hand paint the straw basket which can be up to three colors of your choice, however feel free to get creative with the colours you choose as we can paint in several. All of our straw baskets are bespoke and unique, and this is how we want to keep it.
Your monogram will appear in capitals unless you specify otherwise.
The handles are made out of sisal straw, and on request we can do them in brown leather.
Suggested Colors:
Black, white, grey, orange, beige, magenta pink, baby pink, red, dark blue, light blue, yellow, light green, bottle green, coral, light brown, violet, and gold. Please let us know if your colour is not in this list and we will get it for you, but please check out our color palette for more ideas.
Option to personalise with stripes and 2 letters
When making your order I require the following:
1. Please select the central stripe color
2. Please select the outer stripe color.
3. Please let me know which letters you would like - the first two come free.
Your straw basket will be unique and hand painted with love in the UK. Because the bags are made of straw, slight movement and possible chipping of the paint can occur, but this all adds to the boho basket look.
